Sanita is a water resources engineer passionate about the use of decision support systems and integrated models for evidence-based policy and decision making in water resources management. She leads Work Package 2 under the SustaIndus project that will explore the water-energy linkages of the larger water-energy-food nexus in the Indus basin. Sanita has a MSc in Water Resources Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Denmark and a BSc from Smith College, USA. She has experiences in hydro-economic nexus modeling, system analysis, climate change assessment and hydrological modeling in Nepal, Denmark and the USA.
